[flash update: as i’m writing it out, ive decided for the sake of My sanity that How It Feels To Disappear will be divided into three major parts. the current flashback is Part One. there will be two other parts that will be a part of the mix in the future Selection polls.

this is mostly for it to be easier to manage as its by far the longest of the three stories i have planned. dividing Big Things into Smaller Things makes it easier for me to work on stuff is basically my reasoning, and thankfully abandon lonliness lends itself well into a three parter lol. anyways this won’t have any immediate impact where im at rn, assuming i update daily with each poll as a 24hr, this’ll still be like. more than two weeks worth of content! i do hope you enjoy the story.]

[In terms of creative endeavors, we (mod starry) have still been taking it slow. Artfight was the most we’ve drawn in a while and we had to take a break after. Still thinking about Missing Numbers though… (it’s hard not to when they literally live rent free in my brain)

I still can’t say when I’ll update again, personally, but I’m gonna try and get back into drawing the gang and maybe even do an animation I have an idea for. I’ve got a new drawing program I’m still adjusting to, but I hope it’ll be useful in the long run.

I can also verify that the other mods have been chipping away at something related to the blog during this hiatus too… I hope you’ll like it when it’s ready.

Misc Announcements

[Hiya! I’ve got a few things to note for yall. This isn’t much of a formal post, just a few scattered notes.

Firstly: With the creation of Steven’s ref and the existence of a colored concept for Mike, the Kanto trainers post has been updated. Please take a look if you’d so like!

Secondly: I promise we haven’t forgotten about the blog! A lot of irl personal circumstances have been occurring of all of the mod’s ends that have been making it hard to work on MN. I can only speak for myself, in that an amalgamation of mental and irl struggles have left me in a creative block. Myself and the others have been working on other things, though (ie: mod carrion’s big piece of glitch city you should check out if you haven’t!!), that we hope you’ll enjoy as they come out. I can’t thank yall enough for your patience, and I hope you look forward to when updates resume, whenever it may be :’)

Lastly… It’s July! As a fun lil thing, I wanted to mention that some of us are on Artfight. One of you seemed interested when it was mentioned in a post of an attack I reblogged, so I thought it’d be fun to point out in the meantime. I personally find the event really fun, and find drawing characters that I don’t usually helps me out a bit during my creative ruts. We hope to see you there!
