{Personally, I think it looks a bit odd? I can see the direction they were going with it, and it miiiight be better in the context of the game itself? but as a standalone design I don’t know, it feels more Blimp shaped than Eye shaped to me.}

{We’ve all been on kind of a bit of a hiatus because life has been incredibly chaotic for all of us (one of the mods computers broke down recently, and all four of us have been occupied by other projects and jobs admittedly- Me, Hell and Starry all stream on occasion now too!) BUT missing numbers has NOT been forgotton about, trust me.}

{Personally, I’ve been working on some backend blog page coding things, making hidden pages and writing up some world lore in collaboration with the other mods! There’s also what ive been affectionatly referring to as The Secret Inbox, which so far only two people have contacted - I think one of you detectives cataloged where to find it in The Detectives Doc, under “Hidden Pages” or “Emails”?}

{ Response times are a little slower there just because of the nature of the format, But currently we only have One thing in that inbox that needs to be responded to- so if you’re eager to sniff around, talk to things and maybe get some more information while the main story is in a lull, maybe give it a look}

I just had a quick question about the names of the Red’s and how they’re used because I was kinda confused.Is “Fire” Yuuji called Red by the other characters in the story because Red Tajiri is absent/missing, or is he just universally called Fire?

[“Fire” will be referred to as Red by others within the story, yes! The only ones who may call him by his nickname are Blue and “Glitchy.” On thr flipside, in terms of people aware of his existence, “Glitchy” would only be referred to with his nickname by Leaf.

I know having multiple major figures with the exact same name can get a little confusing, admittedly, which is why in ooc stuff we tend to put their nicknames first ^^“ we’re considering color-coding their names when it’s necessary (ie Red, Red) or just using their full names (Red Tajiri, Red Yuuji). It’s a bridge we’ll cross when we get there, but we WILL write and present things as best we can to ensure it’s clear who’s who!]

I was wondering if the ask I sent in was to roleplay-y?I am so sorry if it was, but I just wanted to check.

[Ah nono, you’re absolutely fine!! Asks that embrace the “character” of the assistant we’ve set up are more than alright!

When I refer to roleplay, I moreso meant the style I’ve seen on some other blogs before of… an ask being sent in, responded to, and them reblogged by the asker with another response, then replied to, and so on and so on… An isolated series of interactions, basically. That’s what we don’t want to do! But asks of any style, cadence, and such are more than okay! Please feel free to ham it up as much as you’d like in terms of asks with actions or dialog!! Submit an essay if you want man idc

the discrepancy between the style of questions from people is something we’ll be very interested to see 👀]

[Ahh, it’s hard to put down hard rules for this- the way I’m planning to go about things is to answer what asks i can, but if one doesn’t work for me in some way, I simply won’t answer.

So you’re essentially free to send in whatever- just know it isn’t a guaranteed answer?

I’d say character interactions are fine (and might be an interesting aspect for a… plan i have heheh)! Just know we won’t be full on roleplaying- just answering questions.

Things like the good ol’ Magic Anons might be interesting later on, but definitely not right now while we set up the basic premise, settings, and faces you’ll be talking with.

Otherwise, I’m not putting any hard rules regarding story asks. It’s simply a case of I can’t promise what I will and will not answer! Still don’t despair if yours isn’t answered right away, I’m just not the fastest with this stuff as life is still pretty hectic rn and I want this blog to be as good as I can make it! ^^“]
