In Viridian City there’s an old man who will teach you how to catch a pokemon. You tell him your name and he will show you how. You must fly your way to Cinnibar and surf along the coast. Depending on your name. You may find her along the shore. Your eyes will buzz, as will all your electronics. Your fingers will numb and some are unlucky enough to go missing due to its effect.
Though. I just usually call them back to its ball.
Over time, you can become accustomed to the sense of electricity buzzing through your very core, the feeling of your atoms moving in and out of place the lightheadedness and nausea of all the sights and smells and feelings all at once jumbled into a mess of garbage.
And sometimes professor, you can even grow a fondness for its presence, not just for its power, but because it feels the same empty feeling you do when you first witness it.
