[I’ll admit that running three ask chains at once, though fine at the time, is a bit much for me right now. This may or may not be an indicator of me updating soon (the idea is this’ll help get the ball rolling, at least), but given that I am very indecisive…]

[Thank you all for your votes! It looks like our next stop once we return to business as usual will be Lavender Tower. Most of you must be eager to see something new, hm?

Our plan is to focus on completing something else related to the blog before updating. For a little while now, the mod team has been chipping away at a secret project, and it’s shaping up to be something that we really hope you’ll all enjoy. We intend to prioritize completing this first, as well as preparing some other media that’ll go up shortly after it’s completion.
This “other media” in question will be related to the next priority after the project, that being the next string of updates! Per several of your asks after a… certain encounter, we’ll be stepping back from the computer to have a brief, relaxing intermission before returning to the investigative action.
I still can’t promise when this all will be ready, to be fully honest. Progress is steady, but there’s still moving pieces that’ll take time to get together. But after our break, we (especially mods Hell and Carrion) have been working hard to make something that’ll be worth the wait. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as we’ve been enjoying seeing it come together!
In the meantime, I hope the min-updates/teasers have been fun ways to keep the ball rolling, so to speak. Though they’re not updates in the traditional sense, each recent art post has had some little secret to be found, in one shape or another, that’ll continue to help shape the story- or at least, offer some interesting foreshadowing, hehe ^^. I imagine these will continue to pop up while the bigger stuff is worked at, so I hope you’ve been enjoying them! And remember, if you ever need some guidance, asking for hints isn’t a problem. We all watch excitedly for progress whenever a new puzzle goes up lol
I know this is a bit of a wordier update again, but I like to be transparent with you all on what’s going on where I’m able! Admittedly, I haven’t run an ask blog before- no less one quite like this- so it excites me to no end to see the support and interest we’ve gotten from you all, as well as your patience as we both rest and take time to prepare something awesome. With how much these stories mean to all of us, we’re all so happy to have you here to watch them unfold.
All to say- thank you guys again for following and enjoying Missing Numbers. We wouldn’t be here without you! I’m so excited to share what we have in store!
