<p><i>Okay-</i> I don't want to ask for a hint because that will forever feel like a freebie to me, but I've scrolled for the last three hours through 8 months worth of posts, and I can't find what changed.</p><p><i>Could I simply be blind?</i> Most definitely. But my eyes burn and I'm going to go insane if I have to do that again. I don't want a huge hint or anything, like y'all telling me what post to look at, but is what changed within the last four months of posts, or is it after that?</p><p>I just need some traction.</p>
{You’re not blind, but what changed is not within our post history at all- “Something somewhere has changed” isn’t just for alterations to posts after all, but alterations to the blog in general as well!}

<p>Ok so there's already a lot of suspicious things here:</p><ul><li>The shiny suicune was already teased to be dangerous in some capacity, unless its coincidentally a different pokemon</li><li>The glitch pokemon in our PC that already just popped up without us doing anything</li><li>Our bidoofs neck was twisted</li><li>There was a miscolored rotom</li><li>All of our standard johtonian Quagsires had weird faces except one</li><li>Our pikachu looked like the Lost Silver one and we have a weird Nidoking/Rattata pokemon that likely corresponds to Bill</li><li>We inexplicably had an Arctozolt and a Silvally, which aren't exactly accessible pokemon and are ones often produced unethically (knowingly or not)</li></ul>
I thought y'all might get a kick out of my puzzle solving notes! I’m very far from an ARG expert, but it always feels nice when someone’s engaging with your stuff (even if they’re a bit bumbling at it. hi. that’s me)
And if any other players want to give it a look and collaborate on the puzzles, you’re more than welcome - the doc should be editable. I’ve got a private copy and the good old version histories, so no worries on potential vandalism. c:

I’m trying a new tactic of going in order and adjusting plausible letters base on what seems to make sense in the message. “The” seems like a pretty natural word to be in there, so I’m using that as my base point right now!
Not the smashing success I hoped for on that front. I’ll keep trying! But those last two frames might be beyond my capabilities for now </3

<p>(Alright, from what's been deciphered from the Bad Egg gif code, I think I have a theory developing... Mega Evolution doesn't exist in any of the Johto games. Not in Gold/Silver/Crystal, not in HGSS. So Mega Absol is an illegal Pokémon there, and would turn into a Bad Egg... Unfortunately no Let's Go Johto to save that poor Absol 😔 (yet)</p><p>There's also the whole split timeline with Mega Evolution thing... Hoenn has a Mega Evolution (ORAS) AND a non-Mega Evolution timeline version (RSE), if that makes sense.</p><p>Same with Kanto... Kanto would actually have three versions in this context, I think. The OG Red/Blue/Yellow/Green, Firered/Leafgreen, and Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. Which the latter actually has different protagonists, and Red is actually a seperate character you can battle in those games iirc, so Fire dodged a bullet there. Not that Arceus would ever let go of its most special, favoritest boy of all time XD</p><p>But there's one way to test that theory, and a few others I have... time to send the professor an ask)</p>
