<p><i>Not an ask—just an observation!</i></p><p>Does anybody remember the wall phone we saw just before looking at the bookshelf upstairs? The one covered in sticky notes?</p><p>Something about it has been bugging me for a while. Well- not really bugging me, but like, scratching at my brain? Making me think about it? <i>(I dunno—it’s a present thought every time I see the phone. Which is pretty often.)</i> But nobody has mentioned it I don’t think-</p><p>One of the sticky notes said something like <i>“Assistant 1 arrives Apr. 26”</i>, which—if you go back to the very beginning of the blog/story—is the first post. So, that’s us <i>(I’m pretty sure)</i>. Makes sense. But there’s a second sticky note that says <i>“Call ___ abt 2nd assistant lead?”</i>. <i>(There is something there in the blank, but I’m not sure what it is. Part of a phone number? A name? “Ø6_v2”? I dunno—I’m blind and can’t tell.)</i></p><p>But Ace is potentially looking for <i>(or into)</i> a second assistant? Why? <i>(It’s none of my business, really. Ace is the boss—they can do literally whatever they want. They probably just want us to take shifts so that nobody gets burned out + can have work getting done around the clock. But that’s just me guessing.) <small><strike>(Honestly, the fact that one was written as "Assistant 1" implies that there were going to be more Assistants. If there was just one, it would just be "Assistant", not "Assistant 1"-)</strike></small></i> Have they ever mentioned a second assistant <i>(that isn’t Leaf, because she was hired far before us)</i>? I don’t remember them doing so, but I have a terrible memory.</p><p>It's probably nothing, but it still stood out to me ever since I saw it. We could have a friend :D or a rival or something in the future. It would be neat.</p><p>But eh, that's just me rambling. Have a good day!</p>

{I will clarify something just cause I’ve realised its a quirk I have when handwriting stuff that the other mods don’t- I write zeroes with a little slash through them (like ∅) to differentiate them from my Os :3! So the note there does read “Call 06_v2 abt 2nd assistant lead?”, you did in fact read it correctly}
