LEAF AOYAMA.
This is the… “beginning” of something more experimental. This will include a format which we intend to use at points in Missing Numbers.
While not a part of the current story, this will still tell a VERY important part of the narrative. As said, you’ll have SOME agency, but you won’t be able to change the general events.
I won’t talk too much- I’m excited to let this unfurl on it’s own. I planned things out for this in advance (and the other two options, which means i will very likely go back to them as well) to make sure this’ll be an interesting thing to experience.
Here are the basics:
- This will be a text-heavy story, with rough and uncolored sketches to supplement.
- You means of interaction will be through 24 hour polls listing your options. This is the main difference from MN’s typically open-ended asking format.
- On that note, you are not interacting with the characters: You are controlling your chosen Vessel through these polls. Don’t send an ask trying to talk to her or anyone else, it will be ignored. (you are allowed to send in ooc asks to me about the story though, but i won’t be spoiling anything!)
- I will be calling this format a “Flashback.” This story will have a specific title that will be tagged for navigation. You’ll see what this is soon.
- I will give content warnings when the subject of this narrative is revealed, and tag every post accordingly. (it will be necessary.)
